Karen regularly volunteers in SWFL helping our future workforce with resume reviews and mock interviews and also provides free workshops for the business community on Top 10 Mistakes Small Businesses Make. In September 2022, the Naples Chamber recognized HR by Karen, LLC as Business of the Month. In addition, Karen is the forthcoming Author of HR Do This, Not That, The Ultimate Handbook of Human Resources for Small Businesses.
Karen has her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Toledo in Communications; Master’s Degree from Strayer University in Human Resource Management and Organizational Development and proud recipient of the Outstanding Graduate Award; and a Society of Human Resources (SHRM) Certified Professional certification. Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, Karen is an avid Cleveland Browns’ fan now residing in Naples, FL.
